As a keen runner, I know how runners use the internet to hunt down race pictures for mementos. Following a race, I would search online for race photos in the hope that I’d pop up somewhere. However, as there was nowhere online for people to share their photos with runners, finding a photo of myself was a long shot. With more and more people turning up to the sides of races with cameras in hand, I wanted to set up a simple method to allow people share their race photos, while also making it easy for runners to find pictures in which they feature.
I'll be out at as many races as possible over the next few months to get the ball rolling on the pictures. Obviously from time to time I'll be racing and not taking pictures so hopefully other people out there will be snapping away and uploading photos.
