About RacePix.com

Share your race photos with the people who value them most – the runners themselves!

RacePix.com is a Photo Search Community website for runners to find pictures that they may appear in.

Do you ever take part at a race and see loads of people taking photos and wonder where do the photos go?
Wouldn't it be nice if there was one central place where everyone with photos could go to upload them?
A place that puts photos together with all other photos taken at that race?

RacePix.com was set up in October 2008 by Darren Spring to try and solve this.
"As a keen runner, I know how runners use the internet to hunt down race pictures for mementos. Following a race, I would search online for race photos in the hope that I’d pop up somewhere. However, as there was nowhere online for people to share their photos with runners, finding a photo of myself was a long shot. With more and more people turning up to the sides of races with cameras in hand, I wanted to set up a simple method to allow people share their race photos, while also making it easy for runners to find pictures in which they feature."

RacePix.com offers runners the chance to share their racing experience with other runners via a photo sharing platform. These are not necessarily expertly taken photos, but they are images which capture what running means to so many. Runners can then search RacePix.com for photographs in which they appear simply by entering their racing bib number – an easy and unique way for runners and photographers to share those captured moments.
