 Entry Fee: €5 per athlete per event, €15 per team per event.  Entry on Day €10

 
Athletes may compete in both novice and masters categories but must enter both.
 
Eligibility for Novice:
Any athlete over 18 years of age on Dec 31st 2010 (no longer eligible for juvenile competition) who has not won an individual medal in the County Novice Road Championships or Munster Senior & Novice Road Championships.  For the inter club competition 4 to score.
 
Masters
Categories start at O35
 
There are two inter club categories O35 (4 to score) & O50 (3 to score) for Men, O35 (4 to score) & O45 (3 to score) for Women.  Athletes may only score on one team (i.e. cannot be members of O35 and O45 team).  Teams can be changed on the day but must be declared before the start of the race.
 
All athletes taking part must be registered, clubs that do not adhere to this rule will be fined. Club colours must be worn.

 2010 will be the 7th year of the annual My Sport Enniscorthy 10k. The event record is held by Latvian, Sandis Bralitis (West Waterford AC) with a time of 30’32”. Significantly in the next 10k we are offering a €500 bonus to anyone who creates a new event record. This together with the €150 winners prize will make a very nice €650 for half an hours work. We suspect that this will attract quality athletes from far and wide.

 
The Shamrocks GAA club is Race HQ and this is where parking, changing and shower facilities are available. Hospitality in the form of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and cakes are laid on after the race by your hosts – Slaney Olympic AC.
 
The course remains unchanged due to positive feedback we’ve received over the years. It meanders around the foot of historic Vinegar Hill in a loop circuit before finishing downhill for most of the last mile; and if you are able to look up at this stage you can take in the beautiful views of Mt Leinster and the Enniscorthy countryside.
 
A generous prize fund, spot prizes, warm hospitality, a fast course and souvenir T shirts for the first 250 to register. All the ingredients for a great race in Enniscorthy, County Wexford on February 14th(St. Valentines Day) 2010. The race starts at 2pm and the 10k walk begins at 1.30pm.

The run follows a circuit from the Maree Community Centre out onto Galway Bay down the Tawin penisula and back to the community centre, rolling and accurately measured
 
The Maree 8k Run & Fun Walk will take place in the senic surrounds of Maree, Oranmore, Co Gaway. Funds raised in the event will be used to develop local sporting facilities. The race is being organised by the Maree Development Organisation .It is open to runners and walkers of all ages.
 
Registration will take place at the Maree community centre, opens at 11:00am and closes at 12:15pm. Post race refreshements, prize giving at 2:30pm.

The race starts at 11 am with entries taken at the Dungarvan GAA centre  (just off the N25 after the Spring Roundabout) from 10 am onwards. The race itself starts closeby. Entry fee is 8 euros. Changing, showers, refreshments and prize-giving will all take place at the GAA centre.
