Share your photos!

RacePix.com helps photographers to get their photos online and into the RacePix.com galleries, while making it easy for those taking part to find photos of themselves in minutes.

Photographers

First and foremost you need a flickr account to host your photos. Simply head over to flickr.com and sign up for your free account.

Uploading and Tagging

1. If you’ve taken a handful of photos at a race, it’s easy enough to just upload them to Flickr and tag them there afterwards.

When you login to flickr go to “Upload Photos & Videos”

2. After you have selected your race photos and uploaded them follow the link to “Add a Description”. From here you can add bulk add the tags to all the photos you have just uploaded. Add the following tags:

• RacePix365
• The unique race tag

Your photos will now appear in the RacePix.com galleries.

Each race on RacePix.com has a unique race tag. Find out what that tag is from the race calendar. The race isn't there? Fear not, our list is not a complete list of races and you can add to it. If you have photos for a race not listed or will be at a future race that's not listed then simply create the race. 

3. To make it easier for people to find their photos you will need to also add the tags of the individual bib numbers that appear in each photo to that photo. 

Simply open the first picture in flickr and choose “Add Tags” and enter the bib numbers in that photo. Move to the next photo until finished.

Runners

To find photos from races you took part in simply search through our galleries for races that happened in your area by year.

Select the gallery and enter in your bib number from the race on the left hand side of the screen and “Search”

You can always sign up to be notified when more pictures from a particular race get posted on the site by various photographers by filling in the “Picture Alert” forms.

Please Note that there is no guarantee that all pictures in all races have been fully tagged with the bib numbers.
